MUST CLIP IN QUICKER.

Hi guys

On Wednesday, although it was cold and rainy, my dad and I wanted to go training with my club.
But it was cancelled so we decided to go and do the toughest climb ( the col de FEU ) in the area that we live in.
At the top of the col de Feu it was cold and misty and unfortunately we got lost so we ended up doing col de Azeze and the col de Cou too, which are very hard climbs. By then dad had realised he had forgotten his spare tube and pump so we were very worried.
On Sunday I did my first time trial of the year!!! And it went pretty well.
There was a normal race which was 28km, it didn't go as well as the time trial.
I started last because I couldn't get my cleat in to my pedal, I managed to catch some of the racers up.
I was happy because I beat my enemy and came 19th out of 42 racers.
Abigail raced too. Her 1st time on her racing bike and had a bad crash. She went face first into the wired mesh fence and now has fence shaped scratches on her face, and a punctured tyre. Her dance teacher has banned her from cycling.
3 weeks ago I tested myself on Ballaison hill which is one of the hardest lumps you will ever find, anyway I did it in 11min46sec.
On Friday I did it in 10min32sec so that means in the past 3 weeks I have improved more than 10%.
Total this week: 153km
Tom.
