I’m very proud to have joined Annemasse. Jean –Claude has been very helpful and
knowledgeable. Although I don’t know the other cadets very well but I do know,
and respect, some of the other guys -
like Damien Righini , Aurelian Paret-Peintre , Charles Desaleux and Sacha
Gauzens-Chiesa (all top guys). Nice Kit too!
So we had a little family holiday and dad and I rode 525km
around Majorca which was great. Then , after flying back to Geneva early on
Sunday morning I went straight to the velodrome to race the 1st round
of the ” Omnium Genevois”. Unfortunately there were
only about 8 cadets racing – although 4 were from the same club (Bourg en
Bresse) - and I won ridiculously easily. I I lapped the peleton
three times during the points race , and won every sprint too.
Then I had nearly 2 weeks off which drove me mad. I thought
I would lose all my fitness and worried my motivation would go too. Mind you,
at least I got some homework done.
So I jumped straight back into the deep end with a junior
race at Aigle. I won the elimination and points race, and came 2nd
in the scratch.
Which makes 3 wins
out of 3 in cadet 2 with Annemasse so far!!!!!!!!
I’m very excited about next year. There is a possibility of
getting sponsored by BUSH HEALTHCARE,
and i’m also hoping my association with Cannondale will
continue next year too.
Current goals:
Getting under 10 sec for a flying lap at Geneva
Getting under 2:30 for 2km at Geneva in the pursuit.
Win the 2 days of Geneva
