My first inter regional.

I was chosen to join the Haute-Savoie track team. Yesterday my team and I went down to Marseille to try and qualify for the team nationals. We got in the team car and drove down to Marseille. It took a long 4 hours.

We have a 5 man team. Aurélien PARET PEINTRE, Andrea COSTA, Damien RIGINI, Maxime MOREL, and ME ! 

Aurelien did the death race, the pursuit, and the vitesse.

Damien did the scratch, pursuit, and the flying kilo.

Andrea did the points race, the pursuit, and the flying kilo.

Maxime did the flying kilo, and the vitesse.

And I did the pursuit and the vitesse.

We had a 45min training session on the track to get use to riding it. After that we got to the hotel had a very nice sleep. 

Got up the next day at 8 in the morning, had breakfast, got our stuff in the car and set off for the track. We got to the Marseille velodrome at 10am. It was an amazing day, blue skies, 32degres C. I had to be very careful to not get burned. 

The first race of the day was the flying kilo. We got 2^nd and did it in 1min08secs.

The second race was the points and we got 4^th.

The third race was the death race and we won that.

The fourth race was the pursuit of 3km. And we won that in 3mins50secs, and the team who came second were 5secs behind.

The fifth race was the scratch and we came 5^th.

The last race was a 750meters standing start. We got 2^nd and did it in 56secs. The 1^st team did it in 56secs as well.

And overall we got 1^st place!!!!!!!!!!!  The whole team was so happy!   That means we have qualified for the nationals and have a very good chance of winning!!!!
